The California Fish and Game Commission and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, invites you to participate in a workshop to discuss and provide input on developing an Experimental Fishing Permit (EFP) Program for state-managed fisheries.

The purpose of the workshop is to initiate a dialogue about how best to design a state EFP program to meet the objectives of the Fisheries Innovation Act of 2018 and the needs of stakeholders. The feedback gathered from this workshop will help inform development of the program.
