The California Fish and Game Commission and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, invites you to participate in a workshop to discuss and provide input on developing an Experimental Fishing Permit (EFP) Program for state-managed fisheries.
Implementing the California Fisheries Innovation Act of 2018:
Experimental Fishing Permit Program
Tuesday, January 14, 2020 | 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The purpose of the workshop is to initiate a dialogue about how best to design a state EFP program to meet the objectives of the Fisheries Innovation Act of 2018 and the needs of stakeholders. The feedback gathered from this workshop will help inform development of the program.
More information about the workshop, including multiple location details, are available online at https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?DocumentID=175546&inline. A final agenda and meeting materials will be sent in advance of the meeting to those who RSVP.
If you are interested in attending, RSVP by January 10 to firstname.lastname@example.org and include “EFP Workshop” in the subject line with the meeting location you plan to attend.
Please forward questions about the EFP program to Marina Som at Marina.Som@wildlife.ca.gov.
